Recent Activities

1) Installation of submersible tube wells in rural areas under water supply project.

2) Establishment of tube wells through priority rural water supply projects.

3) Construction of wash block and installation of tube well under PEDP-3 project.

4) Construction of community toilets and distribution of free ring-slabs under the National Sanitation Project.

5) During the epidemic, soap distribution activities including construction of hand washing basins at various points in the municipality are underway.

6) Iron removal plant and head tank are constructed for iron free water supply in the municipality.
  
7) Arrangements have been made to improve drainage system in different wards in the municipal area.
